Calling all jefas in Texas & Arizona!
We’re thrilled to announce that the Amigas in Business Pitch Competition, in partnership with Capital One, is back! We’re all about tapping into our community’s economic power, so we’re inviting Latine entrepreneurs at any stage in Texas and Arizona to share their business pitch on video for a chance to win one of six grants sponsored by Capital One Business.
From the applications received, we’ll be selecting three winners from each state (a total of six winners) to share their mission, vision, and business plans IRL during the Amigas in Business Bootcamps to be held later this year. A select group of judges will award a grant to each finalist in the amounts of $5,000, $10,000, and $15,000. For more details, check out our FAQ below!
Are you ready to take your business to the next level?

Applications close on Thursday, July 6th, 2023 at 11:59 pm PT.
- Complete your application form and submit your pitch video here.
- Video pitches should be no more than 3 minutes in length. Videos over 3 minutes will be disqualified.
- Participants will need to respond to the following questions about their business in their video pitch:
- Your business elevator speech.
- How long have you been in business?
- Who are your customers?
- What are your business goals over the next 12 months?
- What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
- What impact is your business having in your community?
- What would you do with the grant money if you won?
- No other materials are required for submission.

The Amigas in Business Bootcamps will take place later this year in September and November at local Capital One Cafés in Texas and Arizona. Stay tuned for those announcements!
Are travel and accommodations included?
The winners will be invited to the Amigas in Business Bootcamp hosted in their state. Travel and accommodations will be included.
